AI disclosure
October 30, 2026.
Every film and image that shows Bottega's work is AI-generated. The Copperdawn bakery and its baker are fictional, and so are the film The Quiet Channel and its lighthouse keeper, and the Emberwell ceramics studio, its mug and the hands that make it; no real person's likeness was used.
The reel on the home page is different: it is made of public-domain archival works (paintings, drawings, woodcuts, photographs and 1930s–40s films), not AI. Each one is credited at the bottom of the home page.
The two notebook pages are not handwritten. They are drawn in code: the writing is set in a handwriting font (Reenie Beanie, SIL Open Font License) and the aged paper is generated.

Labels
The video files keep the AI-content labels their tools add (the AIGC metadata tag) and carry a plain-language note that the footage is AI-generated. We don't remove or alter those labels.
